Install a skill
Install one selected Orphex skill in Codex or Claude, then manage it from the directory.
Install one skill at a time with the pinned skills installer. Choose the agent and scope that match where you plan to use it.
Choose an agent and scope
Global installs are available across projects. Project installs belong to the repository where you run the command. The installer may ask whether to copy or link files and where to place a project skill; review its target before accepting.
npx skills@1.7.0 add https://github.com/OrphexTech/agent-skills/tree/v1.0.0/skills/orphex-weekly-performance-review --agent claude-code --globalCheck installed skills
List registrations for the selected agent and scope. This confirms that the installer recognizes a copy; it does not compare the installed file bytes with the source.
npx skills@1.7.0 list --global --agent claude-code --jsonUpdate a skill
Commands from this directory are pinned to v1.0.0; running one again reinstalls that release. When a newer release is published, use its tagged skill folder URL with the same installer, then review the replacement prompt and destination. Skills do not update themselves automatically.
Remove a skill
Remove the selected skill from the same agent and scope chosen above. The CLI asks you to confirm the target before removal. Check it and leave neighboring skill directories in place.
npx skills@1.7.0 remove --global orphex-weekly-performance-review --agent claude-codeThe remove command targets the selected agent and scope. It may leave the canonical folder in place when another universal agent still uses it: .agents/skills/{slug} for a project install or ~/.agents/skills/{slug} for a global install. Inspect the installer’s destination and remaining agent use before cleanup; do not delete a shared folder another agent uses.
Browse a release
Node.js and npm must be available to run the installer. This tagged command lists skills available to install from this release without installing one.
npx skills@1.7.0 add https://github.com/OrphexTech/agent-skills/tree/v1.0.0/skills --listIf no agent uses that exact skill folder, you can remove that folder as a manual fallback. Preserve the shared parent directory and neighboring skills.
Pin the published source
Commands from this directory use the catalog release tag v1.0.0. A direct source folder URL lets you inspect the same version in GitHub before installing.
