Undo a change, or stop one before it runs.
Revert an applied change, or cancel or reject one that’s still waiting.
The problem.
A budget change went through by mistake, or a proposal is waiting that shouldn’t run. “Stop it” means something different at each stage.
What you can do in Orphex.
Yesterday’s budget increase on Retargeting · Cart was a mistake. Undo it.
Orphex reads where the request stands: waiting, approved, running or applied.
A waiting or approved request is rejected or cancelled, and nothing is sent. An applied one gets an undo preview that restores the old value.
You confirm the undo like any other change, and Orphex reads back whether it applied.
What you’ll see
Yesterday’s budget increase on Retargeting · Cart was a mistake. Undo it.
That change was applied, so the undo is a new change. Here is the preview. Nothing has been undone yet.
| Ad set | Now | After undo |
|---|---|---|
| Retargeting · Cart | $420/day | $300/day |
The result.
What Orphex reads for you
- Where the request stands: waiting, approved, running or applied
- What the original change recorded
- Whether the undo applied
After you confirm
- A waiting or approved request is rejected or cancelled, and nothing is sent.
- An applied change to a value gets an undo that restores the old value. An add or remove gets the opposite action.
- A created item usually can’t be undone and a deletion never can, so your assistant proposes pausing instead.
A change that is already running can’t be stopped. Most created or deleted items can’t be reverted, so your assistant proposes pausing them instead.
Ask it another way.
Cancel the budget change I approved this morning before it runs.
Undo the negatives we added to the Shoes campaign yesterday.
Show me the requests still waiting for approval.
Questions.
Can I stop a change that’s already running?
No. Once the platform call is in flight, it has to finish.
Does an undo follow the same rules as a change?
Yes. It’s previewed and confirmed like any other change, with the same limits.
